Young people have so many things competing for their attention each day. They are full of life, curiosity, and a desire to seek truth …but the volume of social media and secular culture is fighting for their attention; inviting them to follow all kinds of distorted ideologies and leaving them questioning who God is and if His plan is actually the best for their lives.
In the wild swirl of these wonderfully formative years, it’s necessary we cut through the noise and give them an opportunity to hear and accept – for themselves – the powerful truth that God is good and He loves them no matter what!
We know how important it is for young people to have peers with shared values and experiences, so we want to create space for them to build life-long friendships that encourage them in their faith. Throughout the week they will experience fun activities and worship settings where they grow in friendship and faith, together.
Our counselors and staff are a big part of this happening. Before camps begin, we take them through extensive training focused on loving the campers, solidifying theology, and ensuring safety. They understand the importance that knowing each camper, welcoming questions, maximizing fun, and prioritizing safety has in connecting with campers.
We know how important it is to not only help students realize that God loves them, but that He also created them with a plan and a purpose. when they embrace His plan for their lives they can be part of a movement in this world to make Him known. Camp Utopia is a place for them to belong and be launched into their faith.

At Camp Utopia, we create an environment where campers can connect with God and with each other as they experience fun, friendship, and the love of Jesus. Helping your student know what to expect before they arrive is important. At Camp Utopia they’ll experience...
Every day we host sessions of worship, biblical teaching, and encouragement, helping them grow in their relationship with God.
We host outrageously fun activities like group games, lake extravaganzas, and friendly sports competitions where campers can let out all their energy and connect with each other.
Campers get to explore electives and activities depending on their interests, whether they love the creative arts, outdoor adventure, or exciting athletics.
One step for you to register your camper can bring them one step closer to knowing God’s love and His plan for their lives.
Your camper is going to have a blast! They can expect a whole week of fun, friendships, and spiritual growth.
Our heart is to encourage them and send them out to go make disciples of Jesus, and love people wholeheartedly.
At Camp Utopia, we create an environment where campers can connect with God and with each other as they experience fun, friendship, and the love of Jesus. We believe kids need a positive experience of Jesus and His people…and Camp Utopia is a great place for that to happen.
Our early bird rate starts at $125. This will gradually increase as we approach camp season, so it is best to register early.
We have 3 different camps, separated by age groups, in the month of June. Each camp lasts 4-5 days. A detailed schedule will be sent out to each camper.
After registering, you will receive a Camp 411 with a suggested packing list, but the most important items to bring are clothes, shoes, toiletries, and bedding.
Upon arrival, a health screening will be conducted where temperature and head checks will be performed. Any medications will be turned in to the nurse, any final payments will be collected, and cabin assignments will be given.
The camp nurse will collect all meds at registration and distribute them throughout the week. No medications should be kept by the camper, with the exceptions of an epipen or rescue inhaler. Any other emergency medication(s) would need approval from the Camp Director in order to be kept in the Cabin.
We do have a nurse on staff all week long who is able to treat a wide range of minor wounds, injuries, and ailments. Severe injuries and illnesses require an 8-minute trip to the nearest urgent care center in Springville, AL. Emergencies are handled by calling EMS. Camp will contact you if an emergency arises involving your child.
